This may or may not be a legitimate Geisha. Many girls dress up as Geisha during festivals in Japan either for the fun of it or simply to get attention. You can usually tell which is which by their attitude. Dressing up is popular entertainment in many cities in Japan. Photo by Tim Jekel 2010
