| Abstract |
Ahn Chang-ho was a great teacher for all Korean people. He gave his life up for the independence of Korea. In a very dark period in Korea's history, even one word or one phrase from Ahn Chang-ho brought hope and light to many people. Yu Gwansun, an 18-year-old girl, shouted loudly for the 'independence of Korea.' Even when the Japanese police pointed their guns and swords at her, she did not give up. With her words, she gave new hope to the Korean people who had lost their country to the Japanese. |
