Abstract |
Qin Shihuang Mausoleum, located in the northern part of Lishan Mount, is a tomb of the first Emperor in the Chinese feudal society. The vaults of Terra-cotta Army were discovered 1.5 km away east of Qin Mausoleum in March 1974, which aroused great interests both from home and abroad. The discovery of the Qin Terra-cotta Army was called one of the greatest discoveries of archaeological history in the 20th century and the Terra-cotta Army was named "the Eighth Wonder of the World." This book overviews the tomb and its characteristics, including history, context, structure, and contents. |
